AltaGas – Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator - REEF

Location: Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada; onsite at the REEF facility. A competitive relocation allowance is available.

Salary: CAD 138,000–150,000 per year, based on experience, education, and skills.

AltaGas operates energy infrastructure, including the REEF terminal with natural gas power generation, compressors, pumps, rail loading racks, and marine load arms.

What you will do

• Plan corrective and preventative maintenance jobs using the control-of-work process.
• Coordinate daily onsite maintenance activities and oversee external service providers.
• Manage small maintenance construction projects and support equipment troubleshooting.
• Create maintenance procedures, preventative maintenance plans, weekly schedules, and work orders in Maximo.
• Coordinate with Operations and Engineering on permits, outages, facility designs, issues, and process upsets.
• Manage parts inventories, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, and maintenance meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and a journeyman trade ticket.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience; oil and gas experience is preferred.
• Experience planning and coordinating electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical maintenance.
• Leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to prioritize multiple activities.
• Experience with a CMMS such as Maximo and familiarity with asset management work processes.
• Valid driver's license, strong time management skills, and the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Turnaround and project management experience.
• Experience with compressors, pumps, molecular sieve systems, and LPG operations equipment.
