Underground Diesel Fitter

Location: Residential role based in Waihi, New Zealand; applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

What you will do

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on underground mining equipment, including loaders, development and production drills, haul trucks, and ancillary plant.
• Maintain mechanical and electronic systems in line with site policies and safety procedures.
• Complete scheduled servicing and inspections to a high quality standard.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Use OEM manuals, technical bulletins, and service documentation to source technical information.
• Support improvements in safety, productivity, and cost effectiveness.

Requirements

• Level 3 Mechanical Trade Qualification.
• Experience working on heavy mobile plant.
• Full, current driver licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
