(USA) Director, Program Management

Location: USA, Bentonville, Arkansas — Home Office

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annual, plus annual or quarterly performance bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and implement program management strategies aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams in prioritizing, scoping, and evaluating enterprise-wide projects.
• Drive gap analyses, process improvements, and best-practice implementation to improve program performance.
• Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to manage risks, communicate priorities, and support decision-making.
• Coach and mentor employees, support succession planning, and develop organizational talent.
• Promote integrity, compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement across programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Legal, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• At least 4 years of experience using intermediate Microsoft Office functionality.
• At least 4 years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or a related area.
• Strong leadership, communication, forecasting, resource planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing training curricula or content.
• Experience managing large-scale change initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Retail consulting experience or Walmart experience in Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, or Finance.
• At least 2 years in a role requiring strategy development.
