What you will do

• Develop test planning documentation and establish standards for test documentation and technical reporting.
• Review test directives, test methods, data packages, letter reports, and technical reports.
• Present test strategies, objectives, and procedures at Safety Review Boards and Test Approval Boards.
• Support developmental, engineering evaluation, operational evaluation, and joint test and evaluation programs for air-to-air and air-to-surface weapons.
• Forecast test assets and range requirements while coordinating with program offices and prime contractors.
• Brief and debrief aircrew and act as Test Conductor during test mission execution.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance with eligibility for Special Access Programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience; experience may substitute for education with customer approval.
• Working knowledge of airborne weapon systems and USAF, USN, or Marine Corps fighter and bomber tactics or airborne weapons employment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders, resolve competing test resource requirements, and work within an integrated team.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with the DoD weapons acquisition process.
• Flight test or aircrew experience with military fighter or bomber aircraft.
• Test Conductor experience with military systems.
• Experience with USAF and USN fighter, bomber, or attack test operations and weapon systems.
• Test Pilot School or Fighter Weapons School graduate status.
