What you will do
- Conduct value analysis and value engineering to optimize product design, improve functionality, and reduce costs.
- Design and develop wiring harness systems for automotive applications.
- Create detailed wiring harness designs using CATIA, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
- Manage design changes throughout the product development lifecycle in accordance with change control processes.
- Generate and release engineering drawings, schematics, and charts according to internal standards and industry regulations.
- Support concept design, prototyping, testing, validation, PLM data management, and BOM coordination.
Requirements
- Experience with automotive wiring harness design and development.
- Proficiency with CATIA, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
- Ability to manage engineering drawings, schematics, product data, revisions, and BOMs.
- Understanding of product development, design change control, testing, and validation processes.
