Principal System Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Apply technical knowledge of high-side switch products, industry standards, and end-equipment technologies.
• Engage with customers and translate their requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Benchmark competing products and track research in vehicle power distribution.
• Lead discussions with customers and field teams to understand designs, resolve problems, and provide technical support.
• Drive innovation through timely demonstration of intellectual property in silicon.
• Define and verify safety requirements and contribute to chip-level safety architecture aligned with ISO 26262.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of analog circuits and blocks used in power products, including electrothermal analysis.
• Experience with ISO 26262 IC products and safety analyses such as DFMEA, DFA, FMEDA, and FTA.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, collaborate across functions, take initiative, and drive results.
• English required at approximately TOEIC 700 level, sufficient for business conversation.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive power management, power switches, or power packaging technology.
• FuSa certification experience.
• Experience with thermal, circuit, or block simulators.
• PCB design or EMC design experience.
