Plant Operator IV (Blender) (Industrial Gas)

What you will do

• Fill, handle, store, load, and unload compressed and liquefied specialty gas cylinders and trailers.
• Perform pre-fill and post-fill inspections, maintain fill records, and review Safety Data Sheets.
• Operate vacuum pumps, cryogenic pumps, booster pumps, compressors, and cylinder transfer equipment.
• Offload cryogenic materials and perform cascade, cold cylinder, and cold coil transfer filling.
• Scrape, label, paint, and safely move cylinders using carts and forklifts.
• Apply DOT Special Permits, handle international cylinders correctly, and perform minor equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience or training.
• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets and follow hirify.global standard operating procedures.
• Forklift operation experience and ability to maintain required forklift certifications.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or equivalent software.
• Ability to perform precise work, coordinate with multiple departments, work reliably in a team, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to work all shifts and in all weather conditions; ability to stand, use hands and arms, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
