TL;DR

hirify.global supports the 780th Test Squadron on the TMAS II contract, focused on developmental and operational testing of airborne weapon systems.

What you will do

  • Develop test planning documentation and establish standards for test documentation and technical reporting.
  • Review test directives, test methods, data packages, letter reports, and technical reports.
  • Present test strategies, objectives, and procedures at Safety Review Boards and Test Approval Boards.
  • Provide engineering and technical management support for developmental, engineering evaluation, operational evaluation, and joint test and evaluation programs.
  • Forecast test assets and range requirements, coordinate with program offices and prime contractors, and represent the squadron at relevant technical meetings.
  • Brief and debrief aircrew and serve as Test Conductor during test mission execution.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience; experience may substitute for the education requirement.
  • Active Secret clearance with eligibility for Special Access Programs is required.
  • Working knowledge of airborne weapon systems and U.S. military fighter or bomber tactics and airborne weapons employment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders, resolve competing test-resource requirements, and work as part of an integrated team.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

  • Experience with the DoD weapons acquisition process.
  • Military fighter or bomber flight-test or aircrew experience.
  • Test Conductor experience with military systems.
  • Experience with USAF and USN fighter, bomber, or attack test and weapons systems.
  • Test Pilot School or Fighter Weapons School graduation.
