Foreclosure Specialist II (Mortgage)

What you will do

• Manage a caseload of foreclosure accounts, review loan documentation, track deadlines, and resolve complex or escalated cases.
• Oversee the preparation and execution of legal documents, including judicial foreclosure filings and deeds.
• Communicate and negotiate with attorneys, property preservation vendors, and other service providers.
• Ensure foreclosure actions comply with federal, state, company, and investor requirements.
• Calculate judgment figures and bid amounts, analyze financial data, and identify appropriate actions.
• Contribute to process improvements, special projects, policy development, and mentoring of entry-level specialists.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least two years of experience as a foreclosure specialist or in a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and investor foreclosure requirements.
• Experience managing complex foreclosure cases and resolving escalated issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with relevant software and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
