Mortgage Loan Officer (Mortgage Lending)

Location: In-office role based in Garden City, New York, serving the greater Metro NYC and Bergen County area of New Jersey.

Base salary: $37,440 per year, plus incentive compensation based on company, business, and/or individual performance.

What you will do

• Recommend mortgage loan solutions aligned with lending guidelines and customer requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of customer relationships and conduct sales calls to retain and develop clients.
• Prepare loan solutions, refer relevant products and services, and review documentation for compliance.
• Manage the customer pipeline and coordinate mortgage transactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze financial information for multifaceted and complex borrowers.

Requirements

• University or college degree with less than one year of professional experience, or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, banking products, loan origination, financial analysis, and sales.
• Ability to manage customer relationships, prospect for clients, communicate effectively, and create tailored customer solutions.
• Ability to assess and manage business risks in accordance with the enterprise risk management framework.
• Must work in the hirify.global office serving the greater Metro NYC and Bergen County area.
