Underwriter II - Commercial

Location: Remote from select U.S. geographic locations, based from a secure home workspace; occasional in-office participation may be required.

Base salary: $75,000–$125,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Analyze credit, collateral strength, financial worthiness, and transaction-party risk.
• Prepare and recommend loan offerings using credit scorecards and risk ratings.
• Provide recommendations on credit structuring and make or support credit decisions.
• Manage credit risk for assigned portfolios and perform pre-approval or post-approval activities.
• Gather information from internal and external customers and resolve missing or inconsistent data.
• Identify applicable regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of commercial underwriting, credit analysis, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Employment visas and STEM OPT sponsorship are not provided.
