Actuarial Leadership Development Program (ALDP) Intern (AI)

Location: Hartford, Connecticut or St. Paul, Minnesota; positions run from early June through the end of the summer

Salary: $28.00–$33.00 per hour

What you will do

• Complete actuarial assignments across pricing and ratemaking, reserving, claims, risk analysis, product management, corporate and enterprise functions, and data science.
• Gain practical business and actuarial experience through on-the-job training and challenging assignments that support business outcomes.
• Use modern analytical and artificial intelligence tools while evaluating the quality and accuracy of AI-assisted outputs.
• Collaborate with fellow interns on solutions to business and actuarial topics and present findings.
• Participate in business workshops, networking activities, leadership interactions, and community outreach events.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States now and in the future.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Suggested fields of study include actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, computer science, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Completion of one or more actuarial exams.
