Senior Actuarial Analyst (US Programs)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; primarily in the office

Salary: $108,00–$134,000 base salary, plus eligibility for a bonus under the applicable incentive plan.

What you will do

• Support pricing and underwriting strategies for the US Programs business and monitor their execution.
• Complete profitability studies, due diligence analyses, rate studies, trend analyses, and price monitoring.
• Support onboarding of approved programs and manage program-specific and state rate filings.
• Engage with MGA underwriters and actuaries as an external and client-facing business partner.
• Develop and maintain pricing models, raters, portfolio management tools, and other analytical tools.
• Produce recurring reports and support ad hoc pricing, product development, and KPI-monitoring activities.

Requirements

• 3 or more CAS exams.
• At least 2 years of pricing experience across commercial lines, including property, auto, general liability, and professional liability.
• Programming proficiency in SQL, Python, VBA, R, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across functions, and respond to operational and service needs.
• Customer-focused approach.
