Actuarial Intern (Insurance)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States — corporate office

Compensation: $16.50–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Work under the direction of a credentialed actuary with managers, mentors, and actuarial teams.
• Research actuarial problems, analyze data, and present findings.
• Contribute to life, long-term care, disability income, or annuity pricing.
• Support risk experience analytics, corporate modeling, or valuation activities.
• Learn about the company's insurance products and connect with actuaries across the organization.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field at an accredited college or university.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Working knowledge of Excel or similar office tools.
• Analytical, problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
• Employer immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Successful completion of an SOA exam.
• Previous actuarial internship or relevant project experience.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities, with strong self-motivation and willingness to learn.
