Location: Hybrid role with three days per week in the office. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of offices in Portland, Medford, Fargo, Burlington, Vancouver, Renton, Spokane, Boise, Lewiston, or Salt Lake City.
Salary: $76,500β$103,500 expected hiring range in Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho; $65,986.35β$89,275.65 expected hiring range in North Dakota. Additional salary ranges and a 10% bonus target may apply by location.

What you will do
- Develop skills in Microsoft Office, health plan data, coding, model development, and data queries.
- Create, maintain, update, and review established data queries and analytical models.
- Prepare project code, analytical models, data visualizations, regular work products, and documentation.
- Assemble customer deliverables and draft responses to customer questions.
- Perform peer reviews and acceptance testing of reports, programs, and models according to quality standards.
- Track project deadlines, communicate progress and conflicts, and manage work alongside actuarial exam preparation.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least one Society of Actuaries exam passed; completion of SOA VEE requirements is preferred.
- Analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent working skills.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, economics, statistics, and risk management principles.
- Technology proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and coding tools such as SQL, SAS, or Alteryx.
- Progress toward actuarial credentials such as ASA or MAAA is expected.
