TL;DR
Human Resources Generalist (HR Operations): Supporting leaders and employees through employee relations, full-cycle recruitment, investigations, leave administration, and HR compliance with an accent on fair policy application, regulatory requirements, and employee data accuracy. Focus on managing complex workplace concerns, maintaining compliant FMLA and ADA processes, and improving HR operations through HRIS reporting and process efficiency.

What you will do

  • Advise leaders and employees on employee relations, workplace concerns, policies, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviews, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Conduct employee investigations and support corrective action processes in accordance with policies and employment laws.
  • Administer FMLA leave and employee accommodation processes while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Support compensation, benefits, payroll, employee data, HRIS records, reporting, and documentation.
  • Partner with site leadership on engagement, organizational effectiveness, talent development, and succession planning.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a Generalist, HR Business Partner, or related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with employee relations, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and policy administration.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, leave management, and HR compliance.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices, including FMLA, ADA, wage and hour regulations, and employee documentation requirements.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Union or labor relations experience, including grievance handling, contract interpretation, or work with represented employees.
  • Potential and ambition to grow into future HR leadership opportunities.
