What you will do
- Provide coaching, guidance, and consultation across the full employment lifecycle.
- Partner with supervisors on employee relations, disciplinary matters, investigations, and fair outcomes.
- Drive employee engagement, recognition, morale, development, and retention programs.
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop business solutions and track progress.
- Support recruitment, job requisitions, offers, pre-hire activities, and new employee orientation through Workday.
- Ensure compliance with federal and Oregon employment legislation, including FMLA/OFLA and Oregon Paid Leave.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in business or HR management, or equivalent related experience.
- 3β5 years of experience supporting a broad range of HR disciplines, preferably in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
- Required experience with employee relations and investigations, including confidential and professional handling of sensitive matters.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, judgment, and relationship-building skills.
- Must comply with US export-control requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC procedures; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
Nice to have
- HRCI or SHRM certification.
- Experience supporting direct labor in manufacturing, working with remote Talent Acquisition, or operating in a matrixed environment.
- Aerospace and defense industry experience.
