Summer 2027 Accounting Intern

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States; on-site for the full internship

Duration: Approximately 12 weeks, from May to August 2027.

hirify.global is an independent oil and natural gas company focused on acquiring, developing, exploring, and exploiting unconventional onshore reserves in the Permian Basin.

What you will do

• Complete an individual accounting project throughout the summer and present the results to Diamondback’s executive team.
• Support financial analysis, internal and external financial reporting, and operational accounting processes.
• Assist with month-end financial reports, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support budget cycles, regulatory filings, and responses to auditor requests.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other departments to understand processes that drive business outcomes.
• Provide compliance and administrative support and participate in Oklahoma City community events.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be willing to work in Oklahoma City for the entire internship.
• Must return to school for the Fall 2027 semester.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.20 or higher.
• Extracurricular achievements or prior work experience.
