Intern/Co-op - Accounting (Summer 2027) (Energy)

Location: Findlay, Ohio; additional opportunities may be available in Canton, Catlettsburg, Denver, Robinson, San Antonio, Texas City, and Wilmington. The role requires reliable transportation to and from the work location and availability to work 40 hours per week.

Salary: $20.19–$25.24 per hour

What you will do

• Receive on-the-job training in petroleum-industry operations, accounting assignments, and business software.
• Analyze and process business documents and accounting and financial data.
• Prepare financial statement journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepare tax information and assist with budgets.
• Test SOX and non-SOX controls as part of audit and assurance activities.
• Collaborate with departments outside the Controller's Organization.

Requirements

• Accounting major required; other business majors may be considered for certain audit roles.
• Strong academic performance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time indefinite basis without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Concurrent enrollment in a bachelor's degree or higher program for the duration of the experience.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week during the experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from the place of work.
