Finance Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global corporate office in Pella, Iowa, USA

What you will do

• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Perform budget-to-actual comparisons and trend analysis, and prepare management reports on business performance.
• Develop financial models and ad hoc analyses supporting business decisions, capital allocation, and operational initiatives.
• Maintain and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely availability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision-making.
• Support treasury, financial planning, data cleanup, systems administration, process optimization, and financial software implementation projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, financial consolidation tools, and Power BI.
• Ability to execute detailed processes while maintaining a broad business perspective.
• No travel is expected for this position.
