Intern/Co-op - Accounting (Fall 2027)

Location: Findlay, Ohio; additional opportunities in Denver, Colorado, and San Antonio, Texas. Onsite work with reliable transportation required.

Salary: $20.19–$25.24 per hour

What you will do

• Receive on-the-job training in petroleum industry operations, accounting assignments, and business software.
• Analyze and process business documents and accounting and financial data.
• Prepare financial statement journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Prepare tax information and assist with budgets.
• Test SOX and non-SOX controls as part of audit and assurance work.
• Collaborate with departments outside the Controller’s Organization.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time indefinite basis without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Concurrent enrollment in a bachelor’s degree or higher program for the duration of the internship.
• Accounting major required; other business majors may be considered for selected audit and assurance positions.
• Strong academic performance.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week and provide reliable transportation to the workplace.
