Manager, Yard I (Industrial Equipment)

Location: Kansas City, KS; onsite auction yard operations

Salary: $60,050–$75,090 per year

What you will do

• Manage auction yard operations in partnership with the Regional Operations Manager.
• Plan refurbishing schedules and budgets, and control purchase orders and cost sheets.
• Coordinate paint contractors, site-related vendors, yard layouts, equipment lineups, and site security.
• Manage and develop full-time, part-time, and sale-day casual yard staff.
• Ensure equipment is sale-ready and maintain compliance with occupational, environmental, and corporate safety requirements.
• Support additional auction yard duties and operations at related off-site locations.

Requirements

• Experience leading, managing, or supervising multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with or knowledge of industrial or agricultural equipment, trucks, and trailers.
• Strong organizational, time-management, prioritization, and task-execution skills.
• Previous cost-management experience and knowledge of business fundamentals and finance are preferred.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, and computer skills, including the ability to learn new systems.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
