Product Owner (Fintech)

Location: Office-based in Cary, North Carolina or Carrollton, Texas, United States

Salary: $75,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage organizational analysis to identify capabilities, improvement opportunities, priorities, and implementation plans.
• Review and approve requirements, process and workflow documentation, report specifications, and related business analysis materials.
• Coordinate application changes, development, and deployment with system developers and business subject matter experts.
• Write, communicate, and validate requirements and user stories using diagrams, data dictionaries, and related analysis techniques within an Agile framework.
• Participate in Scrum or Kanban teams, ceremonies, and retrospectives.
• Plan and certify changes through rigorous test plans, risk mitigation, contingency planning, cost control, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Agile experience.
• Experience with data management and database concepts is preferred.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools is required.
• Financial services experience is preferred; mortgage industry experience is beneficial.
• SQL Server/.NET, XML/EDI, AI, or BI tools experience is a plus.
