Associate Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Boston, MA, United States (Hybrid; regular office presence required)

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Support product roadmap development by synthesizing customer, stakeholder, competitive research, user interview, and data insights.
• Document product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.
• Own and prioritize the backlog for an assigned workstream, track epics and releases in Jira and Confluence, and support sprint execution.
• Partner with hirify.global Outsourced Services, Efficiency and Automation, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams.
• Translate back-office operational pain points into problem statements, internal tooling requirements, and automation initiatives.
• Track post-launch performance, communicate product updates, and support scope and trade-off decisions.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or a technology-driven environment.
• Basic familiarity with investing or wealth management concepts, including account types, portfolios, or advisory services.
• Exposure to agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information and present it clearly.
• Ability to partner with internal operations teams and translate manual, process-heavy workflows into product requirements.
• Working understanding of financial regulations and compliance considerations, with collaboration across Compliance and Legal.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to a consumer-facing digital product from discovery through launch.
• Comfort working with data and metrics; basic SQL or BI tool familiarity.
• Experience in regulated industries, back-office operations, or business process outsourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
