Manufacturing Technician (Energy)

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Redwood City, CA or Austin, TX

What you will do

• Assemble battery systems on a production line following detailed build instructions.
• Build and test battery packs, including wiring, electrical component installation, and potting.
• Operate production equipment, including laser welding machines and heavy machinery like forklifts.
• Perform automated battery health tests and visual inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation while identifying process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience in electronics or mechanical assembly.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a shift and lift 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions in English.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with solar arrays as input power sources.
• Experience with lithium-ion battery handling and safety protocols.
