Workday Configuration Analyst (Workday)

What you will do

• Configure, test, and deploy Workday solutions across HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Performance, Talent, and Payroll.
• Maintain Workday foundations and improve HR processes and employee lifecycle workflows.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives by gathering business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and resolving complex issues.
• Support integrations, data updates, mass uploads, custom reports, system documentation, and test plans.
• Review semiannual Workday releases and implement improvements, automation, and AI solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide backup support for other HRIS Analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• More than 3 years of experience configuring Workday modules.
• Strong written and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience with complex pay calculation rules, accruals, time valuation, eligibility, and payroll workflows.
• Required experience with Payroll and Time Tracking; experience with Absence, Benefits, Project Time Tracking, and Attendance Tracking.
• Workday technical skills including Studio, EIBs, reports, and time clocks; Dormakaba experience is preferred.
