What you will do
- Respond to application support requests and incidents within defined SLAs while maintaining clear customer communication.
- Manage application and team documentation through the appropriate document management lifecycle.
- Maintain software vendor relationships and coordinate support for application teams.
- Plan and execute application upgrades and patch applications to address security vulnerabilities.
- Participate in and lead smaller analyst-led projects, including scheduling, coordination, follow-up tracking, and status communication.
- Support the full application lifecycle, including implementations, upgrades, decommissioning, data archiving, and architecture documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant education combined with 8+ years of industry experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare environments and clinical and business application functionality.
- Ability to investigate issues independently, complete due diligence, and escalate appropriately.
- Ability to develop and maintain system diagrams, dependency maps, integration documentation, and operational documentation.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications and continue professional development.
