Senior Change Management Consultant (EHR)

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona, United States; approximately 15–20% travel required for pilot and implementation activities.

hirify.global is partnering with a healthcare industry organization on an enterprise EHR transformation.

What you will do

• Lead the enterprise change management strategy for a phased, multi-wave transition to athenahealth.
• Design change frameworks, impact assessments, readiness plans, adoption strategies, and resistance management programs.
• Build clinician and operational change champion networks and develop leader toolkits, FAQs, talking points, and communication resources.
• Coach senior leaders and managers while coordinating change activities with training, implementation, communications, and program teams.
• Define and monitor adoption, readiness, sentiment, leader engagement, and time-to-proficiency metrics.
• Lead post-go-live reinforcement, retrospectives, lessons learned, and improvements for future rollout phases.

Requirements

• 10+ years of change management experience in complex healthcare environments.
• Experience leading at least two full-cycle EHR implementations in multi-site healthcare organizations.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, provider operations, and clinician adoption challenges.
• Experience with EHR platforms such as athenahealth, Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, MEDITECH, or similar systems.
• Experience building change champion networks, leader enablement programs, and adoption measurement frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree required, with the ability to influence and coach leaders while managing competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Prosci certification or formal change management methodology training.
• Advanced degree or additional change management certifications.
