Maintenance Mechanic II

Location: Tilton, New Hampshire, United States; onsite, 3rd shift

Starting pay: $30.35 per hour

What you will do

• Lead maintenance projects from start to finish while supporting plant operations and building functions.
• Measure and calculate complex installations and work from prints, drawings, and sketches.
• Operate portable and stationary shop equipment and tools.
• Construct, repair, modify, and rebuild plant equipment, jigs, fixtures, and related tools.
• Perform maintenance work involving truck repairs, carpentry, heat treating, cutting, welding, pipe fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rigging.
• Work safely while climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding and entering confined or difficult areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least three years of maintenance experience.
• Night-shift availability with flexibility to support 24/7 operations, overtime, and call-ins.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or accredited trade certification.
• Five or more years of maintenance mechanic experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, mechanical work, welding, wastewater, or hydraulics.
