What you will do

• Coordinate and support truck shipment activities at the terminal.
• Communicate with coworkers, vendors, and truck drivers by radio, telephone, and email.
• Apply DOT requirements related to truck shipments.
• Respond to assigned call-outs and work independently while following supervisor direction and established procedures.
• Work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and all required shifts.
• Perform physical duties including sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
• Ability to work onsite in Harvey, Louisiana, including rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and assigned call-outs.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills and ability to understand written English and perform basic numerical calculations.
• Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, teamwork, reliability, and ability to follow work rules and schedules.
