Transport Specialist (Logistics)

Location: Addison, Texas, United States; onsite. Monday–Friday shift from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

What you will do

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and service providers.
• Arrange pickups and deliveries while balancing transportation cost, transit time, and transport mode.
• Manage warehouse inbound and outbound transportation activities, trailer capacity, and carrier performance.
• Monitor shipment status, delivery execution, carrier KPIs, and service-level metrics such as OTIF.
• Analyze transportation data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
• Serve as the main contact for customers, internal departments, vendors, and Google’s warehouse vendor and carrier.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation preferred.
• Experience with ERP, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Effective communication, negotiation, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
