Dispatcher (Vehicle Logistics)

What you will do

• Make outbound calls to vehicle pick-up locations and sellers.
• Dispatch sub-haulers for vehicle pick-up and delivery within company timelines.
• Verify sub-hauler compliance with company requirements and policies.
• Use cost-effective vendors, manage vendor relationships, and solicit business.
• Collect payments on member deliveries and print checks and reports.
• Maintain and archive documents, monitor incoming faxes, answer calls, and enforce safety regulations.

Requirements

• Two years of dispatch experience and one year of customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, time management, and customer service skills.
• Typing speed of 45 words per minute, basic ten-key proficiency, basic math skills, and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to operate office equipment, multitask, work with minimal supervision, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
• Knowledge of the local geographical area and ability to read maps.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; occasional overtime may be required.
