Technology Designer (Low Voltage Systems)

What you will do

• Design integrated low-voltage technology systems.
• Calculate electrical power loads, determine UPS requirements, and develop system-related single-line diagrams.
• Prepare complete construction document sets and write specifications for low-voltage technology systems.
• Perform electrical engineering and technology design assignments across all project phases with guidance from the Project Manager.
• Work directly with owners and support Designers, Project Coordinators, and technicians.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews of work completed by Project Coordinators and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in low-voltage system design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• RCDD certification.
• Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, and Autodesk.
