Enterprise Operating System Director

What you will do

• Lead the global Enterprise Operating System program and coordinate execution across functions and steering team members.
• Rationalize documents, eliminate redundant content, and establish unified global standards.
• Oversee deployment of the Enterprise Operating System Document Management System with IT.
• Partner with HR to deliver consistent training, knowledge transfer, and capability development.
• Lead audits, assessments, corrective actions, finding closure, and global preventive-action read-across with Quality.
• Drive change management, regional adoption, cross-functional collaboration, and a zero-incident safety culture.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in Troy, Michigan.
• Experience building capability across global teams, mentoring functional owners, and driving accountability.
• Deep understanding of operating systems, Lean methodologies, and enterprise-level standardization.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and standardize best practices.
• Expertise in root-cause analysis, systematic corrective action, communication, and stakeholder influence.
• Ability to connect operating-system improvements with quality, on-time launches, and customer satisfaction.
