Product Owner (Logistics)

Location: Remote in New York or Texas. Product Owners based in New York and local to the Schenectady headquarters are expected to attend office meetings on some days and drive to various locations to test software.

Annual salary: $80,000–$130,000.

What you will do

• Gather requirements and develop new features and products based on client and user needs.
• Build, prioritize, and refine a large development backlog across sprints and releases.
• Lead refinement meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Scrum ceremonies.
• Collaborate with software development teams, quality assurance, Scrum Masters, stakeholders, and international teams.
• Create and critique UI/UX artifacts for mobile and browser applications and maintain consistent product navigation and design.
• Present complex designs, motivate development teams, and support product quality and sprint commitments.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or active participant in a Scrum process.
• Experience working directly with software development teams and international teams.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles for mobile and browser applications.
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, prototyping tools, and product analytics tools.
• Ability to work remotely from New York or Texas; a valid driver's license and ability to drive to software-testing locations are required.

• Exposure to logistics, education, public safety, or fleet maintenance.
