Senior Technology Product Owner (SaaS)

Location: Minneapolis, MN, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, adjusted based on experience, training, geographic location, licensure, certifications, market factors, budget, and responsibility.

What you will do

• Define portfolio and product vision, roadmaps, priorities, objectives, success metrics, and business outcomes.
• Lead Technology Product Owners, Digital Product Managers, IT stakeholders, and peer colleagues in sequencing initiatives across short-, mid-, and long-term roadmaps.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and service management teams to deliver scalable, stable, performant, and user-experience-optimized technology products.
• Facilitate business process and product mapping sessions focused on improving student and colleague experiences and enabling business growth.
• Partner with vendors on product roadmaps, upgrades, deliverables, and process changes while minimizing bespoke customization.
• Coordinate delivery through deployment, acceptance criteria, post-implementation analysis, support planning, risk management, and dependency tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 9+ years of Product Management, Product Ownership, or Technical Business Analyst experience owning products in an Agile, SaaS technology environment or equivalent.
• Experience working across multiple initiatives and approximately 10 or more teams in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in Agile Product Management, Business Analysis, and Business Process Mapping practices and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, ADO, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, stakeholder-influence, vendor-management, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Scrum Product Owner or related Product Owner/Product Manager certification.
• SAFe Scrum Master Certification.
