Utility Foreman (Construction)

Location: Richmond, VA; onsite field work. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States.

Base hourly compensation: $30.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on education, experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Supervise utility construction crews and manage daily field activities.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Team to meet job cost, schedule, and production goals.
• Plan, organize, and schedule work while reading plans and applying standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, inspectors, owners’ representatives, customers, and coworkers.
• Manage material and equipment requirements and complete project paperwork on time.
• Support project operations and enforce company health and safety policies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supervising and managing individuals.
• Ability to read plans and working knowledge of standards and specifications.
• Ability to organize, plan, and schedule work.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, inspectors, and owners’ representatives.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
