Foreman

Location: Farmington, NM, United States; subsequent projects may be nationally based. Travel to project locations, sometimes nationally, is required. Work takes place in a construction site environment with physical activities and potential exposure to high noise levels.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily construction tasks and adjust plans for weather, materials, and personnel changes.
• Delegate responsibilities to crew members and contractors.
• Train, mentor, and supervise construction employees and contractors.
• Provide resources and direction to meet schedules, regulations, best practices, and safety requirements.
• Promote the safe use of tools, machinery, equipment, and protective gear.
• Manage site quality standards, resolve conflicts, and report project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of supervisory or related experience with proven leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of construction and repair materials, methods, tools, and equipment.
• Technical ability to interpret construction methods, technologies, and technical drawings.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget.
• Experience supervising and training workers, with strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and time-management skills.
