What you will do
- Supervise construction activities to ensure projects meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, client representatives, subcontractors, and other contractors.
- Plan the sequence of fabrication, assembly, and erection activities and ensure resources are available.
- Prioritize work, schedule tasks, and communicate daily and weekly plans to crew members.
- Select suitable building materials and inspect work by employees and subcontractors for specification compliance.
- Maintain time sheets and daily reports while enforcing company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus specialized training equivalent to a master craft designation.
- At least 5 years of experience in building construction trades.
- Background in utility construction.
- Valid driver's license.
- Safety certifications, including OSHA 10 Safety Training.
- DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
