Safety Representative II (Utility Construction)

Location: Construction sites across the United States

Salary: $45–50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Implement and oversee safety programs and policies on construction sites.
• Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training to employees and contractors.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor industry regulations and ensure compliance across construction activities.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in transmission and substation safety or 7+ years of related industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with safety management software.
• Commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Nice to have

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
• Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) certification.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
