Crew Foreman (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Edison, New Jersey, United States; field work across New Jersey, including customer homes and warehouse or industrial/commercial locations.

Salary: $32–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Lead and work alongside technicians performing residential insulation, air sealing, and energy-efficiency upgrades.
• Coach technicians on installation best practices, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure projects meet productivity, quality, and program requirements.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and recommend practical on-site solutions.
• Build trust with homeowners and partners while supporting program participation.
• Document work, record inspection results, and communicate progress to operations teams.

Requirements

• Must be located in Edison, New Jersey.
• At least 3 years of experience in home improvement or skilled trades such as weatherization, HVAC, insulation, electrical, or plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of home systems and residential construction.
• Experience leading or mentoring others and a hands-on player-coach mindset.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, take ownership, and drive results.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and successful completion of required pre-employment checks and drug testing.
