Software Engineer, Internal Systems & AI

Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO or Washington, DC; U.S. export-control eligibility is required.

Salary: $160,000–$185,000 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global is building an AI-native internal system called The Grid to connect company knowledge, communication, and execution for space-mission technology programs.

What you will do

• Embed with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Programs, and Operations to understand workflows and identify opportunities for automation.
• Connect SaaS tools, APIs, databases, internal systems, LLMs, and AI agents.
• Build custom backend, frontend, and integration software when off-the-shelf tools are insufficient.
• Create workflows that turn product specifications into structured engineering work and provide context for coding agents.
• Keep internal, customer, and administrator documentation synchronized with product changes.
• Develop secure AI-assisted workflows for government proposals and controlled information.

Requirements

• Production software development experience and the ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
• Comfort working across APIs, data, automation, backend systems, and lightweight interfaces.
• Experience deploying software and writing both backend and frontend code.
• Natural use of AI coding tools and enthusiasm for agentic software development.
• Strong technical judgment, ownership, curiosity, speed, and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must meet U.S. Government export-control eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise integrations, developer tooling, LLMs, AI agents, knowledge systems, security, or government environments.
