Location: Hybrid role based in Boston, Massachusetts; Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; or Vancouver, Washington, United States.

Salary: $125,000–$205,000 USD annually for US candidates; $110,000–$160,000 CAD annually for Canadian candidates.

What you will do

• Scope, plan, and lead delivery of large-scale product features and roadmap initiatives.
• Clarify requirements across engineering, product, business, and other stakeholders.
• Lead technical problem-solving for complex cross-team challenges and production issues.
• Design scalable and maintainable solutions across frontend and backend systems.
• Improve code reviews, architecture, testing, deployment, and system reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote Agile engineering practices.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of progressive software engineering experience with leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of modern software development practices and architectures.
• Strong experience scoping, delivering, and evolving large-scale features.
• Experience with both frontend and backend technologies.
• Proficiency in Scrum or Kanban and project delivery.
• Strong communication, strategic problem-solving, adaptability, and mentoring skills.
