Senior Product Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid schedule with four days onsite, or three days onsite for employees located more than one hour away.

Salary: $230,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Translate product ideas into technical designs and ship features from concept through production.
• Build and scale features across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Collaborate directly with design, product, leadership, and customers.
• Own projects end-to-end, from ideation and architecture through implementation, polish, and launch.
• Make pragmatic trade-offs between delivery speed and engineering quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience independently shipping full-stack features in a high-velocity startup environment.
• Experience building and scaling data-intensive, user-facing applications.
• Familiarity with AWS deployments and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Product-minded approach, ownership, initiative, and comfort working through ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Background in healthcare or life sciences.
• Experience integrating modern LLMs into production products.
