What you will do
- Manage the company-owned distributorship’s P&L, budget performance, accounts receivable, inventory, and annual planning.
- Analyze scorecards, financial results, market trends, and inventory deviations, then implement corrective action plans.
- Build relationships with key account decision-makers, handle customer complaints, reduce dealer erosion, and acquire new regional business.
- Develop and measure market penetration strategies and improve productivity, routing, utilization, and revenue performance.
- Lead hiring, performance management, recognition, training, coaching, and weekly communication for operations staff.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance with operating procedures, including OSHA and DOT requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven managerial experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal awareness, organization, responsiveness, initiative, and results orientation.
- Experience managing team performance through goals, feedback, coaching, and progressive discipline.
- Customer-focused and entrepreneurial approach with the ability to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds.
- Ability to work around warehouse equipment, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Nice to have
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Computer skills, including Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of battery or automotive systems.
