RF- Electronics Engineer (Quantum)

What you will do

• Design RF PCBs and system architectures for custom RF delivery systems, including cables and transmission lines.
• Define specifications for key RF system building blocks.
• Oversee RF verification and validation testing and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with RF, electronics, ASIC/chip design, mechanical, software, and physics specialists.
• Contribute to project planning, risk management, scheduling, proof-of-concept development, and feasibility studies.
• Identify and implement innovative RF solutions.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of practical experience in RF PCB and system design from VHF to X-band.
• Hands-on experience designing complex RF systems from concept to delivery.
• Strong knowledge of RF hardware design, low-noise design techniques, and testing of low-noise RF systems.
• Proficiency with FEA and simulation tools, especially Ansys HFSS, CST, and ADS.
• Experience developing and executing test plans, working with suppliers and contractors, and producing technical documentation.
• A minimum 2.1 BEng/BSc degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.
