HR Systems Analyst III (Workday Time & Payroll Config)

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $99,800–$137,300 depending on experience.

What you will do

• Design, configure, test, and optimize complex Workday Time, Absence, and Payroll business processes.
• Build condition rules, calculated fields, validations, alerts, notifications, eligibility rules, and EIB templates.
• Own complex workstreams and assess end-to-end impacts across assigned modules.
• Lead semi-annual Workday release impact reviews, remediation, regression testing, and UAT coordination.
• Diagnose escalated system issues, maintain configuration integrity, and develop scalable solutions.
• Partner with HR COEs, Payroll, HR Operations, Business Analysts, product owners, and Workday Engineers on requirements, integrations, security, and migrations.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of hands-on Workday HRIS experience.
• Deep understanding of Workday capabilities and configuration, including business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, EIB, and security fundamentals.
• Experience with Workday release cycles and regression testing.
• Ability to diagnose system issues and present scalable solutions while delivering high-quality work on schedule.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with workflow or project tools such as Visio, Jira, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
