Senior Consultant – Technical Specialist (Workday Financials)

Location: United States; primarily remote. Occasional travel to client sites and Alpha offices may be required for project needs, implementation milestones, and team collaboration.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for a variable bonus.

What you will do

• Build, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations based on approved technical specifications.
• Develop integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and APIs.
• Define interface requirements, data mappings, dependencies, technical decisions, and XML/XSLT transformations.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, troubleshoot transmission, authentication, formatting, and load failures, and support defect remediation.
• Prepare technical data loads, validate conversion results, and support functional teams during conversion cycles.
• Build Workday reports and calculated fields, maintain technical documentation, and support cutover and production validation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of technical Workday development experience.
• Hands-on experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, XML, XSLT, and API mechanics.
• Strong understanding of integration testing, troubleshooting, error handling, and data validation.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and independently execute assigned development tasks.
• Active Workday Creating and Securing Integrations, Workday Studio, and Workday Reporting certifications.
