Workday Payroll Configuration Analyst

Location: Houston, Texas; onsite work is preferred, though remote work may be considered for the right candidate. Unrestricted US work authorization is required.

hirify.global is a large organization with an HRIS function focused on Workday platform configuration, payroll operations, compliance, and enterprise system support.

What you will do

• Configure and maintain Workday Payroll earnings, deductions, payroll calculations, pay groups, and related business processes.
• Support Workday configuration across Payroll, Compensation, Core HCM, Recruiting, and Absence.
• Partner with Payroll and People teams during payroll cycles, process optimization, issue resolution, and requirements gathering.
• Support Workday releases through impact analysis, payroll testing, UAT, deployment, and defect resolution.
• Develop payroll reports, audit controls, data extracts, reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor payroll integrations, manage Tier 2 Workday Help support, maintain documentation, and execute high-volume EIB data loads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, data analytics, business administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Compensation, HRIS, IT, HR technology, or enterprise systems environments.
• Hands-on Workday Compensation, Advanced Compensation, HCM, business process, security, and reporting experience.
• Experience with compensation cycles, Workday Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports, data analysis, releases, testing, and defect resolution.
• Ability to translate business requirements into complex configurations, troubleshoot system and data issues, and collaborate across functional teams.
• Must have unrestricted US work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro Certification in Payroll.
• Knowledge of US, UK, and/or Australian payroll.
