Fiber Project Manager

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; travel and field work required as needed.

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead fiber engineering, construction inspection, data collection, and project delivery across new site development and facility modification projects.
• Manage project schedules, risks, deliverables, and QA/QC standards.
• Oversee project financial health, including P&L reviews, budgets, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable.
• Supervise internal staff, run status meetings, mentor team members, and coordinate specialized training.
• Coordinate internal departments, external vendors, and clients as the primary project liaison.
• Support complex design assignments and use advanced analytics to address field and engineering challenges.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in fiber engineering across multiple client settings.
• Deep knowledge of fiber design, including site acquisition, permitting, GIS, aerial pole surveys, and cable placement.
• Experience with FTTH and FTTP networks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Sitetracker.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently under stringent deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and perform field work as required.
